🔫 Is A Honda Rebel 250 A Good Starter Bike
Best decision of my life. Bike can do highway speeds no problem and can carry my fatass up to 117mph. Rebel 300 will be fine but once you get comfortable you will want more. Don’t get comfortable, but get confident. 4.
The Honda Rebel will be the last Honda on our used motorcycle list, but it’s probably the most enduring learner bike of all time. They’ve been a recurring theme in all motorcycle training facilities across the globe for the past 30 years and for good reason: they’re a fun, simple, versatile, practical, comfortable, reliable motorcycle.
By Motorcycle Guy. Honda Rebel 250 Review. Great beginner cruiser. This motorcycle is one of the best you can get if you are looking for a cruiser style, reliable, fuel efficient beginner motorcycle. Pros. Great for low speed turns. Light weight. Engine is bulletproof. Cons.
This Yamaha V-Star 250 review gives an accurate account of the old work pony. Yamaha V-Star 250 Review. It’s surprising to find a V-Twin engine on the old Virago / V-Star. This separates it from Suzuki’s Marauder 250, Suzuki’s TU 250, and Honda’s Rebel, and makes it stand among the KYMCO Venox and Hyosung Aquila.
Compare with the 2024 Honda Rebel® 1100T Base. Identification. Starter. Electric Dependable good riding bike.
Check your fuses, the main fuse is probably blown. The ignition system makes it's own power when the motor is turning over, that is why it will still run while none of the electrical will work. In the future when jump starting do it without the car's motor running, it can damage the charging system.
Rebel 300/500 has different ergonomics but these bikes are specifically designed to be usable by newer riders. Get one with the ABS as for this bike it’s optional. Rebel 250: at this point unless you are getting a good deal on it, you can skip it. The 300/500 is a better bike that’ll give you fewer issue and therefore more miles in the wind.
@buickguy.. thanks for a mod to respond. Its appreciated. With your post, Im all frackin smiles! Its just what I want. The weight of a bigger bike was my biggest issue, not the speed. My second bike was a Huskivaurna 250 which flew like a 450 . The weight of the bike, as a beginner on the street. was my concern.
But the Rebel 500 is the same cool-looking beginner bike, with a bobber-inspired aspect, fat wheels and a nice riding position. We spent a week riding the new Honda Rebel in the city, and we also took it out for a longer ride. Watch our full review: What We Liked. The Honda Rebel 500 is narrow and easy to ride. That makes it a very good city bike.
The short answer is, all Honda Rebels are great bikes. Period. From their design to maneuverability, traction, braking, control and everything in between (in case, we left something out), the Honda Rebel 300 spells the winner. Sure, Japanese cruiser motorcycles have won a special place in the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts.
Groms are super popular right now, so probably easy to resale quickly, even brake even if you get a used one for the right price. Fun, but easily out grown. Rebels have been around forever, time tested starter bike. Should be more zippy that the Grom. Can get a used one probably a good bit cheaper than a Grom.
Stay away from super sport bikes, and expensive bikes. Other than that find one that fits you comfortably and doesn’t cost too much. You will drop it, bang it up, etc. other than that pretty much any bike is a good starter bike. My personal recommendation would be a Honda rebel 500.
